Come “chill out” in Tennessee’s oldest town. It’s the Jonesborough Chill Out. Gather with old friends and new, bring your lawn chair, grab a spoon and try some chili.

Oh yeah! This is a chili cook off! Do you think you have what it takes to be the chili champion? Sign yourself up! We want to see what you’ve got.

You’ll also have a chance to grab a pint of some quality craft beer, browse through local craft booths, and listen to live entertainment.

The Jonesborough Chill Out will be October 14, 2012 in downtown Jonesborough, TN. Registered teams are to have chili ready for judging by 11:30 am and ready for the public tasting at noon. You’ll be able to purchase a tasting spoon to sample  chilis, hear free live music and there’s even a Kids Craft Cabin.
